National Cycle
Rally for Population Control for a Better Tommorow |
|
A national cycle rally was
flagged off by Sri Bikash Ghosh, Mayor, Siliguri Municipal Corporation at
Baghajatin Park, Siliguri on 14/3/2004. This national cycle rally touched 20
state capitals over a period of 9 months. Four young boys on cycles, spread the
message of voluntary population control and zero population growth.

Under the Happy Family
Initiative, couples and individuals have voluntarily agreed to restrict their
family size to 4 and educate and propagate the benefits of population control
for a better tomorrow. This programme was launched alongwith the National Cycle
rally and thousands of people have signed this pledge.

MPC has organised 23 health camp
in rural areas and amongst low income groups in urban areas uptil June 2005.
These health camps will create awareness about the benefits of population
control and also serves their health needs.

CHILDREN |

Reach the Children programme was
started with the objective of spreading the message of population control and
Science of Living amongst poor students of this region. MPC plans to distribute
80000 sachets of Rasna Juc Up as token gifts worth Rs.2 lakhs amongst 40000
students of this region.
